Notes:
- When more than one length of mast is recommended, it is best to
match the luff length of the sail with the mast length as closely
as possible.
- Sailors weighing more than 185 lbs, or those who tend to sail over-powered,
should consider using a stiffer mast (ie: when a 25 stiffness is recommended,
a 27.5 stiffness may be used).
- Sailors weighing less than 135 lbs, or those who tend to sail under-powered,
should consider using a softer mast (ie: when a 27.5 stiffness is
recommended, a 25 stiffness may be used).
- WAVE MASTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE USED WHEN SAILING IN SURF. The
New Reflex Wave and Tidal Wave is the perfect choice for extreme
conditions.
